Skin Rejuvination

IT IS NEVER TOO EARLY TO START...

That is one of the truths about skin care.  Chemical peels along with microdermabrasion is a great way to start and is still considered the "Gold Standard" amongst most dermatologists.  There is a variety of chemical peels available, with varying benefits.

At FRESH, we will discuss your skin type, and concerns determing what peel and treatment option is best for you.  Some may benefit from a "micropeel", microdermabrasion in  conjunction with a chemical peel to better penetrate the skin.  We will also discuss various "at home" cosmeceutical products available to maintain or correct various skin disorders and help devise a maintenance program so you may enhoy the results of your treatments for many years to come.

AHA (alpha-hydroxy Acids)- At medical professional only strengths these allow for increased collagen production and blood circulation. The most common AHA acids or glycolic and lactic acids

BHA (Beta-Hydroxy Acids)- A helpful therapy for acne prone skin, this reduces the inflamation of acne or other skin conditions. Similar to the AHA acids, it helps thin the epidermis and allow for increased oxygen transfer and nutrients between skin layers

MICRODERMABRASION- Allows for the exfolliation of several layers of outer skin cells, increasing blood and oxyden flow, leaving the skin fresh and smooth, while increasing collagen production.  Micorderm can be performed in many ways one of the most common being with a diamond tip wand. This therapy can be used in conjunction with chemical peels.

COSMECEUTICALS- Medical grade skin care products that allow for cleansing, toning and exfolliation with a higher percentage of active ingrediants than over the counter skin care products to more effectively treat specific skin conditions. Many patients respond well to these specialized skincare products and are very effective when used in combination with other treatment regimens.
